Littlehampton Tennis Club, incorporates two tennis venues that are just a few short minutes walk apart – Howard Lawn Tennis Club (part of the Lawn Tennis Association) and, Littlehampton Community Tennis, which is a non-profit organisation providing tennis coaching to all ages and abilities in the local community.

Howard Lawn Tennis Club

Howard Lawn Tennis club is 112 years old this year and is one of the last remaining grass-only tennis clubs in Sussex.  Howard Lawn offers: social play, men's night, ladies’ night, friendly matches and currently has teams entered into the Sussex leagues for men's, ladies, seniors and Team Tennis.  We also hold regular social events like BBQs courtside and outings.

Howard Lawn is a small, friendly club and always welcomes new members, regardless of age and ability. Come and give tennis a go and arrange your free taster!

Littlehampton Community Tennis Coaching

Based on the teaching methods used in the Spanish academies, for only £12 a month we offer 1.5 hour coaching sessions for adults and juniors on a weekly basis at Maltravers Park hard courts. If you want to try the game of tennis for the first time, start playing tennis again, enjoy a very social activity, improve your fitness or just improve your technique please come along and have a go. Rackets also supplied, if required. Classes are all year round.
